A good approach to making data more accessible and informative, is to add interactivity. For Citymarketing I transformed old static maps into clean interactive components that show more information about the selected region.
We also created a quiz with questions that help determine what region is a match. The quiz picks up where you left off if you return later and analytics about the answers are gathered to measure changing interest in regions. All content is manageable through Wordpress.
